Learning to read the action live takes time and needs practice like any worthwhile endeavour. Reading the action after the fact is good for pattern recognition but will not help when entering a trade in real-time.
I like to practice getting a read on price action with live trades even if the trade size is small or, at times, on a demo platform. Technical trading is about reading the action and learning to see the trade forming and then taking the entry when you have conviction.
In the video, I talk through my reasoning for the entries and also, why I was happy to stay out of the action.
I talk through some trades on the Nikkei N225 and Hang Seng and then review the prime entries on each after the days trading.
